Welcome to the family

I was asked to photograph a friend's big family event. Celebrating a family member's 85th birthday is a big deal! It was beautiful to see generations of one family come together to reminisce and honor the family matriarch.  All of the party's details were sweetly decorated with color and glitter and everyone was incredibly welcoming to me. Here are just a few samples of the decor.

A quick weekend getaway to surprise my mother for her birthday was filled with beautiful sights for my first time in Philadelphia. Gardening is one of my mother's biggest passions, so Longwood Gardens was a perfect place for a trip! Here are some of the incredible flowers and plants from their beautiful grounds.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia

My current home is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. One of the most popular areas here, (somewhat their claim to fame) are the islands of Chincoteague and Assateague with wild roaming horses. I've been out to explore a few days with my friends & family & I do really think its a beautiful place worth visiting and sharing.
